10Guards team of ethical hackers has won a government hosted a hackathon for cybersecurity engineers in Ukraine (27-29 April)
We successfully ended the competition with 2000 points – which is 3 times higher than the closest competitor (650 points)
In detail
The full-scale online hackathon was organized in Ukraine for the first time – with the ultimate goal to increase the cyber resilience of the government enterprises and critical infrastructure.
Win-win approach:
- The defending party gets a chance to evaluate its cybersecurity protection level, receive insights regarding weak and vulnerable parts of the system, and simulate a real-time attack scenario
- Attacking party gets an opportunity to evaluate the level of expertise of in-house cybersecurity experts team
The hackathon has united more than 50 IT specialists:
- Blue – defending teams from major government organizations, such as the National Bank of Ukraine, Ministry of Defense, and National Aviation Service.
Red – attacking teams of ethical hackers from major cybersecurity consultants in Ukraine including 10Guards.
